Planning Sheet
Materials needed:
Each child was provided a Planning Time sheet. They printed their first name or made their marks on the lines next to the Interest Area cards they were planning on visiting. |
Finish the sentence: I played with…
Materials: Clip Board, pencil (I like to use golf pencils to help with fine motor) and paper Directions: Ask children to write at least one name of a child they played with or would like to play with during work time. Be sure to point out where they can find their friend’s names in the classroom. It helps if there are multiple places where they can find the names. |

Planning and Recall Writing
During planning time, children and teachers write their plan on a paper using pictures and/or words. Teachers help number how many plans the child makes. For Recall time, the children come back and take a look at their planning page and talk about what they did for their plans and what they might not have gotten to. |
